DBasia.news – Philippe Coutinho feels at Bayern Munich and wants to stay longer at the club. He indicated he did not want to return to Barcelona.
As is known, Coutinho moved to Bayern this summer on loan. Bayern paid 8.5 million euros with a permanent option of 120 million euros in effect in 2020.
Coutinho left Barcelona because his game did not develop there. In Germany, his performance improved, but currently, under the direction of Hans-Dieter Flick, Coutinho rarely plays because of his position occupied by Thomas Muller.
But that fact did not mask Coutinho’s desire to last longer at the Allianz Arena.
“I feel very fine. I plan to stay here for a year and focus on the here and now. But, if all goes well, then I prefer to stay here,” said Coutinho, quoted by AS.
The former Inter Milan, Espanyol and Liverpool player also understands Hansi Flick’s decision not to trust him at the moment. In fact, Coutinho gave praise to Flick who was appointed to replace Niko Kovac.
“We understand very well how to train and play. Things are going well because of it. Flick makes everything feel important. We are happy, but realize there is a lot of work to be done,” concluded Coutinho.
