Pietro Pellegri Is Included in AC Milan’s List of Targeted Players

DBasia.news – AC Milan is reportedly hunting AS Monaco young striker Pietro Pellegri. The Rossoneri are preparing the best offer for AS Monaco to refuse.

AC Milan continues to strengthen itself in the transfer market this summer. Especially the front line, the Rossoneri brought Olivier Giroud from Chelsea.

However, the presence of Giroud has not satisfied Stefano Pioli. The coach asked for at least one more striker. Pioli doesn’t want the difficult situation last season in which Zlatan Ibrahimovic was injured and Milan lacked striker options to repeat itself.

Italian transfer market expert, Gianluca Di Marzio, reports Milan are monitoring Pietro Pellegri, who currently plays for AS Monaco. The 20-year-old striker traveled to Monaco from Genoa in the summer of 2018 for a fee of 20.9 million euros.

Monaco are reportedly open to releasing Pietro Pellegri this summer. Because, the appearance of the Italian striker was also not satisfactory. Touted as one of the best talents from Italy, Pellegri has only scored two goals in 23 matches.

Pietro Pellegri’s main obstacle showing his titans in France is the injury that hit. Last season alone, Pellergi only played in 17 games.

Milan are looking for the best transfer formula to get Pellegri. Monaco are rumored to be extending Pellegri’s contract which runs out in 2022 before allowing the striker to join on loan. Most likely the deal is closed with a loan plus a redemption option.

Previously, Milan had also been linked with Pietro Pellegri when he was still playing at Genoa. At that time, the striker stole the show by packing three goals in 10 matches.
