DBasia.news – Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo spoke up regarding rumors of Luis Suarez joining his team. Pirlo admits that the move would most likely be challenging this summer.
Suarez is indeed on the verge of leaving the Camp Nou. After the Uruguayan striker was not included in Ronald Koeman’s plans for next season.
There was news that Suarez would join Juventus. The striker is even known to be working on his Italian passport so that his move to Juventus will be smoother.
Suarez also had said that a move to Juventus is still possible this summer. And he’s working on it.
Pirlo admitted that he doubted whether Suarez could actually join Juventus. He said the process for obtaining an Italian passport would take some time, so his passport might only be completed when the transfer market closes.
“The passport issue takes a while. It will be difficult for him [Suarez] to become a Juventus striker,” Pirlo said as quoted by Goal International.
Pirlo also admitted that his team is currently waiting for a new striker to replace Higuain. But he still doesn’t want to reveal who it will be.
“Yes, we are waiting for a striker, but we are not in a rush.” he stated.
According to rumors, the new Juventus striker is from the Italian capital. The Old Lady will hijack Edin Dzeko from AS Roma.
