DBasia.news –Andrea Pirlo criticized the coaches in Italy. He mentioned the coaches in his country have no courage and rely on the foreign players.
The former Juventus and AC Milan player supported the Gli Azzurri boss Roberto Mancini who gave the opportunity to the young players.
In fact, Pirlo continued, the quality of foreign players aren’t as good as the locals. It made the regeneration in Italy national team very slow.
“Italian coaches lack the courage to focus on young Italians … It happens a lot,” Pirlo said.
“Many foreigners are less good than ours, it also happens in Serie B and even in the lower divisions.”
“The use of Italian players has never been so low here and so we need to invent something,”
“I think that for a CT, the problem refers mainly to the big teams: Inter, Juventus, Napoli and also Roma don’t play many Italians. The exceptions are Milan and Fiorentina.”
Pirlo’s statement strengthened the complaint from Italy national team coach, Roberto Mancini. Mancini assumed it’s difficult now to find Italy’s best players due to the lack of playing time in the club.
