By news-admin

DBasia.news – MELAKA: PKNS opened the right move in the Malaysia Cup quarter-final after completing a 5-2 PDRM in Group B opening at Hang Jebat Stadium, Paya Rumput.

Trying to repeat the 2016 success to the quarter-finals, the hosts are trying to create an early goal but a mistake by goalkeeper Ahmad Sheril Anuar Saini dropped Rafeal Ramazotti into the penalty box allowing PKNS to shoot a goal by Romel Oswaldo in the 27th minute.

That goal was followed by The Cops rise and the attack of the hosts resulting in a shot by Petrisor Voinea’s penalty box in the 44th minute.

In the second half, PKNS once again ahead of the hosts after two minutes of play through Daniel Sang Ting’s push.

The Red Ants continued to extend the goals after Muhammad Faris Ramli scored the third in the 63rd minute and Rafel Ramazotti added fourth on the net after being easily pushed in the 74th minute.

The goal did not weaken the PDRM to bridge the gap after substitute Mohd Baqiuddin Shamsudin scored the second goal in the 78th minute.

Every effort afterwards was stripped of visitors’ defense and the dream of The Cops for at least one failed point and former national striker Mohd Safee Sali added the fifth goal of PKNS in the 90th minute.
