DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, stated that he could leave the club and return home if he managed to deliver Spurs to win the Champions League this season.
Pochettino, who three times in a row led Spurs to finish in the top three of the Premier League, hinting to be ready to leave the club if they managed to become European level champions.
“Champions League champion? It would be fantastic wouldn’t it? Close the five-year round and go home,” he said.
“Winning the Champions League with Tottenham, in this situation, this season, maybe I need to think a little about doing something different in the future. Because repeating this miracle, you know?”
Pochettino was said to be handling Manchester United before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as the club’s permanent manager last March.
