DBasia.news – Radja Nainggolan, Inter Milan midfielder, revealed the real reason for leaving AS Roma earlier this summer. Nainggolan said he was leaving the Italian Capital City team because of Monchi.
The 30-year-old left after defending Roma since 2014. Nainggolan went to Inter with a tag of 38 million euros, plus barter players Nicolo Zaniolo and Davide Santon to Rome. Last season, Nainggolan helped Roma penetrate the Champions League semifinals.
Monchi, before leaving Rome, is now the Director of Giallorossi Sports from 2017. The bald-headed man is famous for being a good Sports Director as he knows how to make a lot of money from selling players.
Monchi knows how to find talented players at cheap prices, then polished by the club, and will then be sold at high prices. However, Nainggolan did not like the way Monchi sold him without his knowledge.
According to Nainggolan, leaving Rome was the best solution rather than having an internal commotion everyday involving him with Monchi.
“If I survive in Rome, world war will occur every day. I left because of Monchi, who did not behave professionally to me, there is a disagreement,” said Nainggolan, quoted from Calciomercato.
“If he tells me directly that he wants to sell, then I can understand it. However, he sent representatives without my knowledge, so I realized Rome was no longer where I am,” continued the Indonesian Batak-blooded player.
So far, Nainggolan’s performance is far from the expectations pinned to him. In addition to frequent injuries, Nainggolan’s appearance is also inconsistent with the disruption that comes from his life outside of football.
