DBasia.news – FC Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara is proved violating the contract with the Germany popular apparel company, Adidas. The decision was taken during the hearing.
As we know, Rafinha wore the Japanese shoe brand, Mizuno. In fact, the Brasilian midfielder is in contract with Adidas.
Rafinha’s action made Adidas upset and sued him. The Germany apparel registered the case to the Dutch court.
The court decided Rafinha has likely breached the contract and asked Rafinha to wear the Adidas shoe soon.
If the Barcelona Academy alumni refused to do that, he must pay the fine. The fine reach €100,000 (Rp16,5 billion).
Besides that, he must pay €10,000 for every day he refuses to wear Adidas boots.
Rafinha signed the contract since 2013. Actually, the contract has expired in June 2018 if he didn’t do anything wrong.
However, the Barcelona midfielder didn’t respond to the contract negotiation with the apparel and automatically extended until 2023. But, Rafinha thought the contract has ended.
Assuming that the contract has ended, Rafinha wore the Mizuno shoes. The Barcelona midfielder chose the black one to avoid the problem.
