Ralf Rangnick Appoints Someone Close to Replace Kieran McKenna

DBasia.news – Ralf Rangnick moved quickly to find a replacement for assistant Kieran McKenna, who resigned as assistant coach at Manchester United. The German man again pointed to his closest person.

As is known, McKenna chose to resign from his position last week. Even though his role was very crucial in the transition period to link the Manchester United squad left by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Rangnick who served as interim manager.

But Rangnick could not prevent McKenna’s departure. The person concerned has indeed gotten a more challenging job by becoming the new manager of Ipswich Town.

According to Sky Sports, Rangnick has now found a replacement for McKenna. He plans to appoint Ewan Sharp as his new assistant.

Sharp is no stranger to Rangnick. The two have worked together since the New York Red Bulls to Lokomotiv Moscow.

Sharp plans to not only serve as assistant coach. He also has responsibilities as an analyst.

Interestingly, Sharp has also been an assistant to Chris Armas, who was previously signed by Manchester United as a replacement for Michael Carrick. This will facilitate the collaboration of the three to maximize the potential of Cristiano Ronaldo and his friends.

Mike Phelan is now a Manchester United coaching staff left over from the Solskjaer era. Rangnick still wants to work with Sir Alex Ferguson’s former right-hand man.
