Ralf Rangnick’s Response to the Issue of Turmoil in the Manchester United Dressing Room

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ralf Rangnick, responded to the issue of upheaval in his team’s dressing room.

Rangnick’s Manchester United suffered their first defeat at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford, Tuesday (4/1). Minor results that in fact give a very big impact.

Manchester United did look bad in that match. Cooperation between players did not go well.

It’s no wonder that there are slanted news about the situation in the Manchester United dressing room. The relationship between a number of players is said to have begun to heat up and distrust each other.

It didn’t stop there, Manchester United players were also reportedly starting to doubt the quality of Rangnick. They seemed half-hearted to run the tactician’s 4-2-2-2 scheme.

Rangnick emphatically denied the rumors. He emphasized that the condition of his team’s dressing room was not as bad as reported.

“Everyone is very disappointed not only about the result but also the performance. I think we showed in the last game that they (the players) tried to follow the advice we gave,” Rangnick told the club’s official website.

“They at least tried and I’m sure they listened (instructions). My job is to make sure we put in a different performance.”

Rangnick also did not deny that there were a number of Manchester United players who were disappointed because they rarely got the chance to play. The former FC Schalke coach has his own way of solving this problem.

“The players are obviously not happy with the situation. I tend to explain to the players every two or three weeks why they are not playing and that is a problem in our team and other clubs,” he added.

“We have players with contracts that expire in the summer and also have one or two more people who want to leave and who are still under contract. It’s about the players who handle it professionally.”

Rangnick must immediately bring Manchester United out of this difficult situation. His qualities as a top tactician also face the real test.

Manchester United will travel to Aston Villa’s headquarters in the third round of the 2021-2022 FA Cup, Tuesday (11/1). This event became one of Rangnick’s greatest opportunities to present a trophy at the end of the season.
