DBasia.news – Kedah’s sensational striker Paulo Rangel is reluctant to let the feelings of the supporter of Kedah be depressed and is now ready to showcase their best in Group C’s second match, Malaysia Cup against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) at Stadium Tan Sri Hassan Yunos, Larkin, tomorrow.
The deadlock that Kedah experienced in the Malaysian Cup stages when facing Kelantan at the Darul Aman Stadium last Sunday was disappointing supporters are hoping for a better result, reaching three points.
For Rangel, he understands the disappointed Kedah supporters and the situation put pressure on him and the team because of the deadlock in the game.
“I’m sorry I am unable to help Kedah score and help score three points in the first game of Group C. It is a pressure to myself”
“But as a player I will always try and continue to make every effort through training and preparation.
“I want to shoot a goal in Johor and as a record, I’ve got five goals in the previous game and I think that’s a good score,” he said.
Rangel, who had been with JDT in the 2015 season, also insisted he will continue to work hard with his teammates to achieve better results in this prestigious match.
“After coming home from Brazil recently on family matters, I continue to focus on daily training in order to improve our capabilities and best performance with the team.”
He said despite the fierce rivals in group C with JDT, MIFA and Kelantan, he still believes Kedah has the opportunity to move on from experience and record as Malaysia Cup finalist for three consecutive years.
