DBasia.news – Manchester United coach, Ralf Rangnick, believes that one of the biggest problems for the Red Devils at the moment is the wrong way to bring in players. Man United often sign players who don’t shine in the end.

It is difficult to say if the owners of Manchester United do not provide sufficient funds to attract new players. Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek, and Harry Maguire are some of the names of new ammunition brought in by Man United.

However, from those names, not many managed to show the performance as expected. In fact, some of them actually made it difficult for Man United to sell.

According to Rangnick, the success rate of the players brought in should reach 70 percent. This amount is far from what Man United got in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer era where they recruited 14 players.

“In the end, it’s a matter of recruitment. Having the right players, bringing in the right players at the right time and not bringing in the wrong players at the wrong time. That’s pretty easy in football,” Rangnick said as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

“It’s a matter of having a recruitment process and what kind of players we really need for the kind of tactics to play. One more thing is to have the best managers adapt to that.”

Now, Ralf Rangnick will have a role to solve the problem. Because, Rangnick is rumored to be a club consultant where one of his duties is to provide recommendations on which players need to be brought in.

“I don’t know why it’s a problem at Manchester United. I can only talk about the last four months and at that time we didn’t bring in players. We just lost a few players and didn’t sign contracts,” Rangnick explained.

“Besides, this is an issue that was discussed with the member council and not in front of the media,” said the German manager.
