Karim Benzema’s appearance with Real Madrid this season has been fairly good with increasing productivity scoring, but he is not Cristiano Ronaldo who has left for Juventus.
But Benzema managed to show a pretty satisfying performance in the second half of the season, starting from the beginning of Santiago Solari’s coaching period until when Zinedine Zidane returned to coach the Spanish capital city. This situation provides a change in the plan that can be implemented by Los Blancos in the 2019 summer transfer market.
According to reports from the US, the performance shown by Benzema can make Madrid continue to rely on Raul de Tomas, a player who they loaned to Rayo Vallecano this season, to become a coating for the French player.
In La Liga competition, Raul de Tomas has scored 13 goals for Rayo, 38% of the total goals scored by the team who are currently ranked 19th in the standings and are still struggling to avoid relegation which will make them return to the second division.
In the previous season, De Tomas also defended Rayo and became a key player for the team to get promotion back to the highest level of Spanish football by scoring 24 goals.
