Jimenez has indeed been the target of a number of big European clubs in the upcoming transfer market. The 28-year-old player reportedly entered the radar of Real Madrid and Manchester United.

“I think Raul Jimenez has the characteristics of a game like world class attackers. As a striker, he is highly agile but also has great technique. “I can imagine him playing at Manchester City,” Ilkay Guendogan told ESPN.

Furthermore, Guendogan also compared Jimenez with Robert Lewandowski. According to Guendogan, Jimenez has a style of play that is not much different from Lewandowski.

“Maybe, he isn’t at that level yet. However, his playing style reminds me of Robert Lewandowski. In that case, I feel that Jimenez has enormous potential, “added Guendogan.
