Real Madrid are at the lead to sign Aurelien Tchouameni

DBasia.news – French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has attracted a lot of interest from across Europe and is on Real Madrid’s radar. Monaco as the club that owns Tchouameni will ask for at least 60 million euros for interested clubs.

Los Blancos are targeting the 21-year-old with the aim of strengthening their midfield despite having already signed Eduardo Camavinga at the end of the summer transfer window. The Spanish giants are believed to want to regenerate their midfield with younger players.

Tchouameni has shone in his last two appearances for France after making his debut in September. Real Madrid sees that the player possess the qualities needed to be a top defensive midfielder and become Casemiro’s potential successor.

With his presence and defensive ability, he will offer Carlo Ancelotti’s squad something that midfield lacks and that makes him a different prospect than Camavinga or even Paul Pogba, who are an option.

With Pogba having a tendency to stay at Manchester United, Real Madrid are believed to have to shell out quite a bit to sign Tchouameni as several English clubs such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have been tracking his development.

This makes sense, because Monaco signed him from Bordeaux for 18 million Euros in January 2020. No wonder they charge a high price when interest in players is getting serious.
