DBasia.news – According to a report from Sky Sports, Real Madrid are reportedly getting closer to completing Luka Jovic’s transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2019 summer transfer market.
The 21-year-old Serbian striker was contracted for five years with a total income of 50 million euros or 8.7 million pounds per week. While Frankfurt will pay Benfica at a price of £ 10.5 million.
Jovic has been loaned by Frankfurt from Benfica since 2017. Two years playing with Frankfurt, Jovic transformed into one of Europe’s top strikers this season scoring 17 goals in 31 Bundesliga matches and 10 goals in the Europa League.
“Real Madrid recruited Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Luka Jovic, for 52 million pounds (60 million euros). Big profits for Frankfurt after they activated the six million pound clause to recruit him permanently from Benfica,” said Kaveh Solhekol, a journalist for Sky Sports.
“Benfica will ask for another 10 million pounds from the deal to Madrid,” he continued.
Just 21 years old, Jovic was plotted to slowly become the 31-year-old, Karim Benzema’s successor. Four caps and one goal with the Serbian national team have a good finish or goal conversion rate.
“Left foot, right foot, head header, volley, conversion opportunities into goals … Luka Jovic has everything. Madrid wisely recruited him very quickly. 60 million euros should prove to be a great transfer,” added Dean Jones, author of B / R Football.
The match against Bayern Munich this weekend in the Bundesliga match, Saturday (18/5) at 20.30 WIB, could be Jovic’s last match with Adi Hutter’s care team.
Both Bayern and Frankfurt still have targets to pursue in the last week of the Bundesliga. Bayern are on the verge of winning the Bundesliga title in the competition against Borussia Dortmund, while Frankfurt are still likely to enter the Champions League zone.
