Real Madrid Extends Eder Militao’s Contract

DBasia.news – Real Madrid are rumored to be extending the contract of defender Eder Militao until the summer of 2028.

Militao will sign a contract extension in the next few days after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid last weekend.

Militao has been an important part of Real Madrid’s defense and built a great partnership with David Alaba and was able to win the Spanish league title and Champions League this season.

He also successfully replaced the role of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane who left the Santiago Bernanbeu in the transfer market last summer.

Eder Militao arrived from FC Porto in the summer of 2019 for a fee of 50 million euros or around IDR 783 billion and made the 24-year-old Real Madrid’s most expensive defender.

This season, Eder Militao has played 50 games for Real Madrid in various competitions and contributed two goals and three assists from 4,496 minutes played.

With Los Blancos, the Brazilian has made 91 appearances and recorded four goals and four assists from 14,915 minutes played in various competitions.

Currently, Eder Militao is joining the Brazil national team which is preparing to face South Korea and Japan in preparation for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar from November to December.
