Real Madrid gives a time limit for Sergio Ramos to determine his future

DBasia.news – Real Madrid have reportedly made their final offer regarding Sergio Ramos’ contract extension. Now Los Blancos are just waiting for the captain to make a decision.

As is known, Ramos’s contract with Madrid will end next summer. With less than six months to go, the club in the Spanish capital is still trying to keep one of its top players.

Negotiations between the two parties are still at a standstill. Ramos and Madrid have different opinions regarding the duration of the contract extension.

Madrid only wants to award a new one-year contract to Ramos at the club’s policy for senior players. But the star wants a two-year term.

Reporting from Marca, Madrid officials are reportedly ready to give in. They will offer a contract duration of one year with an option to extend for one year.

Madrid hopes Ramos will accept this offer and immediately extend his contract. If not, they are ready to look for a new center-back.

Madrid has even given a time limit for Ramos to make a decision. The 34 year old player will wait until the end of March to decide his future.

If Ramos is still reluctant to renew his contract, then Madrid is ready to forget about him. That means, El Real will not revise its offering.

Madrid prepares David Alaba

If Ramos does leave, Madrid will make David Alaba his replacement. The Austrian defender also happens to be on a free transfer this summer.

Madrid and Alaba are even reported to have entered into a personal agreement. Now the ball is at Ramos’ court.
