Real Madrid left-back reportedly agreed to join Juventus

Marcelo

DBasia.news –  The dream of Cristiano Ronaldo to meet his former teammate at Real Madrid, Marcelo, looks set to come true soon. Marcelo is believed to have agreed to join Juventus.

Marcelo has long been linked to leaving for Juventus. Some media reported that the Brazilian defender had the ambition to return to playing with Ronaldo. Understandably, while still in Madrid, the two players are known to have a close relationship.

Marcelo’s desire to leave Real Madrid grew bigger after not getting the main position in the Santiago Solari era. The Argentine coach prefers to play Sergio Reguilon rather than Marcelo on the left side of the defense.

At present, Marcelo is still under contract until June 2022. However, injuries and unsatisfactory performances make the player get sharp criticism from Spanish supporters and media.

La Stampa reported Marcelo had met with Juventus to discuss the contract. Later, Marcelo will receive a contract worth 12 million Euro per season for four years.

After agreeing to the contract proposed by Juventus, Marcelo moved to persuade Real Madrid to let him leave. The curly-haired player was reported to have met the Los Merengues director, Jose Angel Sanchez, to ask permission to leave.

Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a warehouse wash plan in the upcoming transfer market. This was inseparable after El Real failed in the Champions League and Copa del Rey event, while LaLiga was also far from the grip.
