Real Madrid Now Aims for Cristiano Ronaldo After Returning Zinedine Zidane

DBasia.news –  In a press conference held by Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane made a surprising statement. Zidane did not close the chance of Cristiano Ronaldo’s return.

Real Madrid ejected Santiago Solari on Monday (11/3) local time. Not long ago, Los Merengues appointed Zinedine Zidane as coach.

The news was quite surprising as Zinedine Zidane left Real Madrid for less than a season. This also became the second substitute for Los Blancos coach in the 2018-2019 season.

When introduced as Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane called out Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the Frenchman did not want to think of Ronaldo first.

“You know who Cristiano Ronaldo is, he is part of the history of Real Madrid. You will not be able to change it, he is the best player,” said Zinedine Zidane.

“However, I don’t want to discuss Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment. My problem is to achieve positive results in the remaining 11 matches,” added Zinedine Zidane.

Cristiano Ronaldo himself seemed to be ignoring the matter. The captain of the Portuguese national team claimed to be happy at Juventus and is comfortable living in Italy.

“I have no secrets whatsoever. I am dedicated and have passion in football. I like this sport more than anything,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.

“I enjoyed it in Portugal, England and Spain. Now I am doing it in Italy with Juventus. I’m happy here,” added Cristiano Ronaldo.
