According to reports from the US, currently there are rumors of differences between Real Madrid’s main coach, Zinedine Zidane, and the club’s president, Florentino Perez, regarding players they will target in the next transfer market.
Zidane is claimed to want to bring in Napoli’s mainstay player, Kalidou Koulibaly, who has been in the target of several other big European clubs in recent seasons thanks to the consistent performance he showed in Serie A. While Florentino Perez is reportedly more interested in trying to bring in Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez .
Both players will not be able to be brought in easily by Madrid, considering Koulibaly has a contract up to 2023 with Napoli and a clause worth 150 million euros, while Jose Gimenez has a contract of similar duration and a clause worth 120 million euros, coupled with the status of Los Rojiblancos as one of their masin competitors.
