Regarding Fekir’s Failed Transfer, Lyon’s President Blamed Liverpool

Nabil Fekir

DBasia.news – Lyon President Jean-Michael Aulas said the failure to sign Nabil Fekir last summer was due to Liverpool’s decision change.

Fekir was rumored to Liverpool transfer last summer. But, after weeks of negotiation, it was failed.

Fekir, who stays in Lyon, is currently under the negotiation about his coming back to the French club.

“At the final moment, the three parties did not find an agreement, but not just Liverpool and Lyon, who had had an agreement,” Aulas said.

“Nabil at the time was OK with all of that.”

One of the potential reasons that came forward, though not confirmed, is Fekir often gets injured.

But, Aulas summed up the reason and claimed it as the counter from Liverpool.
