Reminiscing his childhood with Milan, Tomori admits that Kaka is his idol

DBasia.news – AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori admits that club legend Kaka is one of his idols when sharing childhood memories of the Serie A giants.

Calling Tomori a fan favorite may sound like an understatement, but what is certain is that he has stolen the hearts and minds of every Rossoneri fan since his arrival on loan from Chelsea before making his permanent move last summer.

In an interview with the Champions Journal, the official Champions League magazine, the England international player spoke on a number of different topics, including his career so far, his time with the Blues, and why he is still surprised tha he is currently playing for Il Diavolo.

The 23-year-old centre-back was also asked about his memories of the Rossoneri as a child as the Serie A giants ruled Europe as a boy and it looks like they will soon return to that level. He also mentioned that the Brazilian legend is one of his idols.

“I remember the nights of the Champions League. Unfortunately the first thing I remember is the final in Istanbul. And then I remember seeing the 2007 final in Athens, when Milan won,” he said as quoted by MilanNews.

“There are so many players I admire, one of them is Kaka. So to say that I am part of this club where certain players wear the Rossoneri jersey is fantastic.”
