Reportedly positive for the Corona Virus, Vinicius Junior would be absent until the end of the season

DBasia.news – Real Madrid are currently troubled by an issue which states that one of their winger, Vinicius Junior has been tested positive for the corona virus. If the issue is true, it would be certain that the Brazilian will be absent until the end of the season.

This issue emerged after Vinicius was required to conduct a corona virus test again ahead of the match against Alaves on Saturday (11/7) AM. He was forced to do so as there was an error in the test results of the 19-year-old player.

Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane has not been able to talk much about the condition of his player. He also could not be sure that Vinicius would appear to face Alaves.

“The doctor told me that the test (to Vinicius) did not go well and will be done again. We will get the results this afternoon (local time),” Zidane said on the club’s official website.

“He hasn’t been positive because the test didn’t work properly. Sometimes there are mistakes and you don’t get negative or positive results.”

If the results are positive, Vinicius must undergo independent isolation according to the LaLiga protocol. He was only allowed to return to play after being tested negative for the corona virus.

With less than two weeks of competition left, it’s hard for Vinicius to be able to return to playing if he is positive for the corona virus. This will certainly be a loss for Madrid who could lose their chances of winning the title.

Before Vinicius, Madrid had to lose Luka Jovic who also had to undergo independent isolation. This was done as the 22-year-old player had had contact with a friend who was positive for the corona virus.
