Responding to Raiola’s statement, Allegri makes sure De Ligt stays at Juventus

DBasia.news – Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed his response to Mino Raiola’s statement that Matthijs de Ligt might leave. Allegri insists, De Ligt will stay.

Mino Raiola stated that Matthijs de Ligt might leave Juventus next summer. Previously, he also said Allesio Romagnoli would head to Juventus.

The super agent often speaks about his client’s future. One of the other examples is regarding Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United.

The statement has made Allegri respond. Allegri assesses, De Ligt will continue to develop at Juventus.

“De Ligt is a young player with quality. However, he still needs to improve and will stay at Juventus for the next few seasons, regardless of how many times he appears,” said Allegri as reported by Sky Sports.

“De Ligt is still 22 years old. He is an extraordinary player. He joined from Ajax at the age of 20. After arriving, someone wrote that De Ligt would win the Ballon d’Or in the future,” Allegri stated.

So far, Matthijs de Ligt’s appearance has not been exactly what was expected. Although, his performance can’t be said to be bad either.

“Calm is needed. De Ligt is still in his 20s. However, wearing the Juventus jersey is a heavy burden.”

“Maybe, Giorgio Chiellini will not be as good as De Ligt at his age. However, at 27 or 28, he will be a great player. It will take time,” explained Allegri.
