Revenue Reduces, Arsenal Must Buy Players Selectively

DBasia.news – Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insists his team must not make mistakes in the transfer market. The Gunners spend funds appropriately to bring in players according to the needs of the team.

Arsenal will end the 2019-2020 Premier League by entertaining Watford at the Emirates Stadium. If they win, Arsenal’s best position are eighth in the standings.

That would be Arsenal’s worst ranking in the Premier League since 1995. That position will also make The Gunners’ income decreases.

Mikel Arteta realized he would not get a lot of funds to buy players. For this reason, every decision must be considered carefully.

“We know that we do not have the margin to make mistakes and everything must be planned,” said Arteta as reported by Goal.

“I must say that we are very confident in the way the owner and the board approached the important time for us. With a great process to put the team to the next level in a very fast time.”

“Once we know a little more and have information where it is, it’s easier to make decisions,” the manager said.

Mikel Arteta insisted can’t wait to undergo a new season with Arsenal. Although, there will be many challenges for the manager.

“I came here and know the challenges. I am very sure we did it right, but it takes time,” Arteta said.

“If we are in the same place, we will succeed. However, we have to do it and then send it to players, staff members and then fans.”
