DBasia.news – Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski admits he has met Real Madrid president Florentino Perez on several occasions.
Lewandowski began to steal the attention while strengthening Borussia Dortmund in the period 2010 to 2014. His sharpness became one of the keys for Die Borussen to advance to the 2013 Champions League final.
Since then, big teams like Manchester United and Real Madrid have been interested in hijacking Lewandowski. But Bayern Munich became a lucky club because they were able to get his services for free in the summer of 2014.
Lewandowski’s ability is increasingly honed after moving to Munich. Unmitigated, five Bundesliga top scorer titles and one Champions League he won.
Seven years later, Lewandowski is still in Munich. However, his name was once again being hunted by the European giants.
“It’s true that I met Madrid president (Florentino) Perez once or twice after a few games in Madrid. But I can’t say much more,” Lewandowski told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lewandowski did not specify the time of the meeting with Perez. He had traveled to the Santiago Bernabeu while in uniform for Dortmund and Munich.
But the meeting did not make Lewandowski able to be hijacked by Madrid. Even so, he has not closed the door to moving from Munich.
“I’m just focused on the moment and my club to try to win again and again. I don’t think about the speculations about my future made by other people.”
