Robert Lewandowski likely to leave, Getting closer to Barcelona?

DBasia.news – Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, is evidently leaving to Barcelona in the summer transfer window. The Polish player also stated that he did not renew his contract with Die Roten.

The question of where Lewandowski would head to is beginning to come to light. Bayern Munich through its director, Hasan Salihamidzic, confirmed that Lewy had refused a contract extension. In fact, the striker’s tenure has 1 year remaining.

“Yes, Lewandowski told me that he didn’t want to accept our offer. He wanted to leave the club,” the director told Sky Sports.

“Our position has not changed. Lewandowski has a contract until 2023. That’s a fact. An offer from Barcelona? No.”

On the other hand, Lewandowski is also not shy about expressing his intention to leave. Lewandowski hopes Bayern are relieved to let him go.

“It’s possible this is my last game for Bayern. I can’t be 100%, but it’s possible. We want to find the best solution for me and the club,” explained Lewandowski.

“I’m not going to sign a new contract. We have to find the best solution for both parties. I told Bayern to think about any offers coming in.”

Now, Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is working to bring his client to the Camp Nou. Barcelona is a top priority for the future of the Polish striker.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have reportedly prepared a three-season contract for Lewandowski. Barca are also working on a strategy before talking to Bayern. Barcelona hopes that Lewandowski’s value can be suppressed as his contract only has one year remaining.
