Roberto Mancini Hopes Serie A to be Terminated

DBasia.news – Italy national football team coach, Roberto Mancini, claimed to have hoped that the Italian League Serie A this season to be stopped completely. The former Inter Milan coach does not want Gli Azzurri players who play in the Italian League to suffer injuries because they have to perform on a busy schedule to continue the competition.

Mancini has a strong reason for this desire. He considered continuing the competition would endanger the player’s condition.

“As a coach of La Nazionale, I can say it would be better if Serie A was not resumed. If the players play on a tight schedule this summer, they are more likely to get injury,” Mancini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

But Mancini did not want to force his will. He only hoped that the authorities made player safety a top priority.

“Nevertheless, I know, the players can not wait grazing. So, I hope, they can finish the competition as soon as possible,” he added.

Issues related to the continuation of Serie A this season did invite pros and cons in Italy. There are those who hope to continue but not a few also ask to be stopped.

The participating clubs did not even have a say about the continuation of the competition. But FIGC and Serie A operators remain committed to completing the season to avoid the financial crisis.

Serie A is planned to be held again at the end of May in private. The clubs will ask permission to hold training after the lockdown rules are lifted by the Italian government.
