DBasia.news – Manchester United is still looking for players who can replace Marcus Rashford on the front lines. Reportedly, Manchester United are eyeing Valencia striker, Rodrigo.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been flustered after Marcus Rashford suffered a long injury. The manager stated, Rashford will be pulled over until the middle of the competition.
Solskjaer has asked management to achieve new ammunition. As according to him, it’s hard to compete against a tight schedule if you only have Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.
“We have many important players who have been injured this season. This is really an unfortunate situation. There is a possibility we will be spending players because the transfer window is still open.” Solskjaer said as reported by the Daily Mail.
Sport reports, Manchester United are monitoring Valencia’s main striker, Rodrigo. The Spaniard usually occupies the target man position, and can be shifted into a wing attacker.
Rodrigo has strengthened Valencia since July 2015. In this season, he has scored four goals plus 10 assists in 22 matches.
Valencia is predicted to have no objection in
releasing Rodrigo to Manchester United. However, Valencia is expected to set a
high price of more than 50 million euros. This amount will complicate the Red
Devils as they still need large funds for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes.
Besides
Rodrigo, Manchester United is also rumored to be monitoring Real Madrid striker,
Luka Jovic. Although Jovic’s career is currently fading, Man United believes
the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker still has the sharpness.
