Roma Promised Lamborghini for Kluivert to Stay in Barcelona

DBasia.news – In this summer transfer market, AS Roma and Barcelona relationship won’t be like how it used to be. Roma are still upset of Barcelona who hijacked the Brasilian wing striker, Malcom, when he just about to fly to Italy and signed the contract with Giallorossi.

Girondins Bordeaux, Malcom club, canceled the flight all of sudden and received the offer from Barcelona with a higher price. Barca succesfully hijacked Roma by objectifying the 21-year-old player transfer.

After the incident, Roma heated the rivalry with Barcelona through the statement from Roma sporting director, Monchi, who wanted to learn about the case and brought it to the court. Kostas Manolas, Roma defender, did the counter by saying that he didn’t know and didn’t care about Malcom, when they met during the preseason tour.

Barcelona might be upset defeated by Roma in the Champions League last season and took the revenge by hijacking Malcom. Roma president James Pallotta attacked Barcelona and said that he won’t forgive Blaugrana. He would only forgive Barca if they gave Lionel Messi, impossibly happens.

The resentment was still going on. Pallotta told the 19-year-old Dutch wing striker Justin Kluivert to forget his dream to join Barcelona and teased him with Mercedes and Lamborghini.

“I’ll give you a Lamborghini if you score 30 goals. Otherwise, it’s a Mercedes if you score 10, okay? I’ve also read that you dream of going to Barcelona. You know I’ll never sell you to them, right?” Pallotta said reported by Football-Italia.

Kluivert joined from Ajax Amsterdam with 18,75 million euro. He is the son of Dutch football legend, Patrick Kluivert, who played for Dutch national team in all age from U-15, U-21, and one cap with senior Dutch national team.
