DBasia.news – AS Roma inconsistent performance this season makes the fans upset. Moreover, their ultras supporters asked the club president James Pallotta to leave.
Before the match against Genoa, Roma ultras has installed some giant banner with “Palotta Vattene” written on it, means “Pallotta leave”. Furthermore, the fanatic fans also declared their statement asking him to leave the duty.
“We do not expect victories, but clarity and respect. We list just some of the phrases that represent the superficiality with which, in recent years, the club has communicated with the fans,” Ultras Roma demanded.
“We’re not giving any alibis, of course, but the incapability of the President and club to do their jobs ensured Roma sold their best players year after year, usually replaced by players who are worth considerably less, weakening the squad and going forward with no plan.”
The protest for the US-Italian man is going further. During the 10 initial minutes of the match, ultras sat in silence in the tribune. They did that as the protest for the club who released many star players to get the profit.
Roma sold some of their players since last season. The first departure who stole the attention was Mohamed Salah who went to Liverpool worth £35M.
Meanwhile, this season, they lose more prominent players like Radja Nainggolan, Kevin Strootman, and Alisson Becker.
