Ronaldo has never betrayed Inter Milan

DBasia.news – Ronaldo Nazario has denied his betrayal of Inter Milan by joining AC Milan. He asserted that the real Snake had dumped him.

Ronaldo joined Milan in January 2007 from Real Madrid. His move to the Rossoneri had hurt Inter fans.

As Il Fenomeno had become a hero in the Nerazzurri. He previously defended Inter in 1997 to 2002.

He recorded 59 goals and 11 assists in 98 matches with La Beneamata. When defending Inter, he won the Ballon d’Or in 1997.

His decision to cross to Milan has made him to be considered a traitor by Inter fans. However, Ronaldo insisted that he did not betray Inter.

He revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport that Inter didn’t want to recruit him back. The Brazilian player revealed that he really wanted to return to Inter after Madrid.

Ronaldo’s desire is unrequited in the response from Inter. He then decided to accept the offer from Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani who were Milan officials at that time to defect to Il Diavolo.

“It did not go well, but Silvio Berlusconi and above all Adriano Galliani paid attention to me. My relationship with them is a memory that still makes me smile to this day. Respect is always there for them,” Ronaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport as quoted from Italian Football

“At the moment it might be easier to say this. This is what actually happened: at that time, I really wanted to go back to Inter. I did everything to return to Inter.”

“I waited as long as I could, but Inter didn’t answer yes or no, which means no. I didn’t feel that I was a traitor after joining Milan, but I was betrayed by Inter.”

“That is definitely not a popular choice. However, I was never afraid to make that decision,” Ronaldo revealed of his decision to join Milan.
