DBasia.news – Former Liverpool player, Ian Rush, admits he heard the news that Cristiano Ronaldo would enter as a potential replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. According to him, Ronaldo has the potential to be a tactician.

Although Solskjaer’s position is still safe so far, Manchester United are reportedly still looking for a replacement. Ralf Rangnick and Brendan Rodgers are the two leading figures.

In addition, news emerged that Cristiano Ronaldo also has the potential to replace Solskjaer.

However, Ian Rush feels that Ronaldo is not yet in the coaching position. However, all could change if Sir Alex Ferguson would guide him.

“Ronaldo is the main figure at Manchester United. There is talk of Ronaldo being the next manager,” said Rush as reported by The Sun.

“When I saw Ronaldo, I saw him as a leader. However, all that except Ronaldo was accompanied by Sir Alex Ferguson. Otherwise, I don’t see him coaching Manchester United in the near future.”

Ronaldo did appear like a coach during the European Cup final between Portugal and France. CR7 gave direction from the sidelines after being replaced due to injury.

Ronaldo again showed a similar action when Man United met Young Boys in the Champions League.

“We’ve seen Ronaldo like a coach when he won the 2016 European Cup. At that time he had to leave because of injury,” said Rush.

“Ronaldo is very passionate on the touchline. He gives orders and motivates the team. Maybe the talent of being a coach shows there.”

“In addition, we know Ronaldo is a person who likes to demand. That is what a manager needs. Ronaldo also likes to lead,” stated Rush.

However, Rush considers placing Ronaldo as a replacement for Ole Gunnar Solsjaer is still too early. Ronaldo needs time as a coach.

“However, managing a big team like Man United requires managerial experience. That’s the reason I don’t agree with the idea of Ronaldo replacing Solskjaer.”
