Ronaldo Must follow in Messi’s Steps in France

DBasia.news – Basile Boli, sporting director of Olympique Marseille, has given advice to Cristiano Ronaldo. According to him, Ronaldo should consider his options to continue his career in France.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently unemployed. The Portugal forward is clubless after parting ways with Manchester United. Ronaldo also chose to train with Real Madrid to maintain his fitness.

Meanwhile, regarding the new destination, there is no clear indication. Ronaldo reportedly still does not want to accept the offer to play for Al-Nassr. In fact, the club from Saudi Arabia is ready to provide exorbitant salaries for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo is believed to be still waiting for offers from European clubs. The 37-year-old striker wants to continue playing in Europe to keep his fitness level high.

Seeing this, Basile Boli advised Ronaldo to choose to play in Ligue 1. Boli set Lionel Messi as an example. La Pulga chose Paris Saint-Germain after leaving Barcelona.

“Cristiano Ronaldo had negotiated with Olympique Marseille. I think Ronaldo should have come,” said Basile Boli.

“Ronaldo is a talented player. Even though he is a little old, in my opinion he can still give something to the competition in France,” continued Basile Boli.

“We saw that, as did Messi. Messi didn’t succeed in his first season, but then proved to be number one in his second year.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with English giants, Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Ronaldo in the short term for just half a season.
