Ronaldo thinks about the feelings of MU supporters after losing to Liverpool

DBasia.news – Manchester United’s humiliating defeat against Liverpool in the 2021-2022 Premier League has made Cristiano Ronaldo react. In the midst of deep disappointment, he is still thinking about the feelings of the Red Devils supporters.

In a match that took place at Old Trafford, Sunday (24/10), Manchester United were defeated 0-5 by Liverpool. This result has made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team win fast in their last four matches in the Premier League.

Manchester United did lose everything to Liverpool in that match. Ronaldo’s presence in fact did not help much.

Ronaldo did have time to score a consolation goal in the second half. But the referee annulled it after checking VAR as the superstar was first caught in an offside position.

After Paul Pogba was sent off in the 60th minute, Manchester United had difficulty to catch up. This condition made Ronaldo frustrated.

After the match, Ronaldo shared his feelings on social media. He felt bad for Manchester United fans who always gave full support at Old Trafford.

“Sometimes the results are not what we strive for and want. No one else is to blame,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram.

“Our fans are, again, amazing with their constant support. They deserve better than this, much better and it’s up to us to deliver.”

Manchester United fans have welcomed this match enthusiastically. They are quite confident that their idol team can beat Liverpool who are in their best form.

However, the reality on the ground is far from their expectations. No wonder many of the Manchester United fans left the stadium before the game was over.

Ronaldo has warned his teammates to rise. He certainly wants to repay the full support of the fans with a win.

“Now is the time!” he insisted.
