DBasia.news – Manchester United were held to a goalless draw by Arsenal in the Premier League. Former United player, Roy Keane, criticized the performance of his former club.

The Arsenal vs MU match in Week 21 of the Premier League ended without a winner. The match which was held at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (31/1/2021) am, WIB, ended in a 0-0 draw.

In that match, MU had a number of opportunities to score goals. Edinson Cavani had the best chance in the second half, but the Uruguayan striker shot went wide off the net.

This means that United have not scored against Arsenal in three consecutive meetings in the Premier League. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s MU has never won against Arsenal in the Premier League.

Roy Keane considered Manchester United’s performance in that match to be less convincing. The Red Devils should have been more daring to attack Arsenal, who were not reinforced by a number of pillars such as Bukayo Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Kieran Tierney.

“I was scratching my head because of United. My concern is watching them today, they lacked confidence that they can win the game,” Keane told Sky Sports.

“This is Man United, you see Arsenal who have lost some players, games should be won.”

“Overall, their performance lacked intensity. There was a real lack of quality today from Man United, and a lack of confidence and desire to attack Arsenal aggressively. And Arsenal at least clearly deserved this draw,” said Roy Keane.

As a result of this draw, Manchester United failed to approach Manchester City in the Premier League standings. MU, who is in second place with 41 points from 21 matches, is now three points behind City who are at the top and have only played 20 games.
