DBasia.news –  Real Madrid failed to gain victory on the first leg Copa Del Rey semi-final against Barcelona at Camp Nou, Thursday (7/2). The match ended in a draw and according to Madrid coach, Santiago Solari, Los Blancos should have won the game.

Real Madrid played 1-1 with Barcelona. The Los Blancos goal was scored by Lucas Vazquez on the 6th minute. Meanwhile Barcelona returned the goal through Malcom on the second round.

Real Madrid and Barcelona both produced 11 chances throughout the competition, as for El Barca was ahead on ball possession by 57 percent.

“We wanted to win the fame and  have a chance in scoring a second goal, we are pleased with what we’ve done today,” says Solari as reported from Soccerway.

“We’re taking one step at a time. The match has just ended. We have a few days to work hard.”

“We need to see how Marco Llorente and I do a press conference before the next match. This is good for the competition. We will strive to win and our focus now is the LaLiga match,” says Solari

Santiago Solari has brought a breath of fresh air to Real Madrid. Though not too impressive, El Real is slowly piercing through LaLiha top three. Even though at the beginning of the season Karim Benzema and team was scattered at sixth position.

“It was a beautiful match with real quality and an even shifting momentum. It’s a delight to see club supporters everywhere.

“We could score a goal on the second round with the Vinicius Junior and Gareth Bale had. It’s hard to talk about justice in football. It is an opened result and plenty of quality in the field,” said the coach

Real Madrid will next do the derby match against Atletico Madrid in the Laliga continuing match, at Wanda Metropolitano, Saturday (9/2). Victory will make Madrid occupy second place in LaLiga.
