DBasia.news –  Santiago Solari was not quite satisfied with the momentum and the trend of victory that his team inscribed, Real Madrid. Solari wants the 2018-19 Champions League title.

Real Madrid dominated the Champions League for the past three seasons. During that period, Los Blancos always managed to come out as champions.

Which means, they only need two more titles to match the record in the 1950s. At that time, Real Madrid won five consecutive Champions League trophies.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid appeared less confident in the 2018-2019 season. In fact, Los Merengues had fired coach Julen Lopetegui to be replaced with Santiago Solari.

Even so, Santiago Solari is remains optimistic that Real Madrid can repeat this achievement. Solari also commented on the match against Ajax in the top 16 Champions League.

“Winning the Champions League for the fourth match in a row? In my opinion, there is nothing impossible for Real Madrid,” Santiago Solari said on the UEFA website.

“Ajax is famous for having great young player system. They have a commitment to young players and offensive football. That’s how they work.”

“Ajax has been competitive since last season and continues now. The match will be fierce, like all Champions League matches,” Santiago Solari continued.

Real Madrid will travel to Ajax’s headquarters first in the top 16 Champions League. Afterwards, Los Blancos will host the Dutch team.
