Sarri Could Make A History in Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri

DBasia.news – The former Chelsea player, Claude Makelele, believed Maurizio Sarri might make a history. But, it would be hard in his first season.

Maurizio Sarri was appointed as Chelsea manager in 2018 summer. He replaced the Italian manager Antonio Conte who got sacked.

Luckily, Maurizio Sarri could start his career in Chelsea well. The Blues got four winnings in four matches of Premier League.

The record made Chelsea become one of three teams who always win in the four initial matches of Premier League. Besides The Blues, there are also Liverpool and Watford.

Consequently, Makelele believed Maurizio Sarri is bringing a significant change to Chelsea. However, the French man asked The Blues to be patient hence the process.

“I think Chelsea changed a lot. Before now you have a lot of teams in the Premier League, it’s competitive,” Makelele told Omnisport.

“He (Sarri) still has good players, (Eden) Hazard is there, (N’Golo) Kante is there. These kinds of players give a different story about Chelsea than the way we knew Chelsea before.”

“These kinds of players give a different story about Chelsea than the way we knew Chelsea before. I think he has the capacity to make history for Chelsea again,” Makelele continued.

Next, Chelsea will play against Cardiff City in the fifth week of 2018-2019 Premier League. The match will be conducted at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (15/9).
