Sarri Needs A Year to Equalize Liverpool

Maurizio Sarri

DBasia.news – Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri declared that he needs at least one year to equalize Liverpool’s performance.

“We have to play against a very, very good team. Against a team who have worked with the same coach for three or four seasons. They are a step ahead of us at this moment,” Sarri said.

Meanwhile, Sarri compared with his squad who just collaborated since 35-40 days ago, plus some players didn’t meet the period due to the duty to support their own country.

“For us, it’s a bit early. We have to work then, maybe, in one year we will be at the same level as Liverpool,” he insisted.

The result against West Ham made the 100 percent performance of Sarri with Chelsea ends in the sixth match of all competitions.

In contrary, Liverpool still preserve their sweep-out by the victories from 7 matches of all competitions.

Before serving Liverpool at Stamford Bridge for the 8th week of Premier League, Chelsea will first visit Anfield in the third round of the EFL on Thursday (27/9).

“I want to see the picture of the situation tomorrow morning during the training session. Now, really, I don’t know. Maybe I will have to change 11 players, maybe only five. At this moment, I don’t know,” he concluded.
