Satisfied with the current squad, Juventus will not recruit players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Fabio Paratici, sporting director of Juventus, said that there was no need to bring in new players in the winter transfer market in January 2020. He was satisfied with the players in the squad owned by Maurizio Sarri’s team at the moment.
In the last few weeks, Ivan Rakitic’s name has often been said to be new Bianconerri recruitment in the winter transfer market. Not only that, but Juventus is also often reported to land a wing-back to add depth to the squad.
“We have a very complete squad. I also consider the Juventus squad to be one of the best in Europe at the moment. We are very pleased with the players there,” Fabio Paratici said, quoted from the Italian Football page.
Despite making sure they will not spend a player, Paratici did not rule out the possibility to release one of its stars. The Bianconerri is reportedly ready to release Mario Mandzukic to Manchester United in the winter transfer window.
“We’ve been trying to find a new club for Mandzukic. But, unfortunately, he failed to move to Qatar. That made him have to stay with us. In the January transfer window, we already have plans for Mandzukic,” Paratici said.
With the current squad, Juventus have been able to show outstanding performances. Cristiano Ronaldo and his team have won six of the seven Serie A parties and are entitled to top the Serie A table.
