DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain officially recruited Schalke 04 defender, Thilo Kehrer. The 21-year-old player signed the contract until June 2023.
Until now, both didn’t reveal the money spent to get the 21-year-old player. But, Germany media mentioned PSG gave 37 million euro to get Kehrer.
Kehrer felt happy to continue his career in Paris Saint-Germain. He believed Les Parisiens would be the right place for him to grow.
“It is with a lot of emotions and ambitions that I join Paris Saint-Germain today,” Kehrer said in club’s official website.
“Throughout Europe, the strength and attractiveness of the Parisian project are known to all. Nowhere else, I could not imagine finding a better club to continue my progress and achieve my goals,” he emphasized.
“I am going to meet here team-mates of an extraordinary level and a coach who has done a very good job in Germany these last years.”
“All of them will give me a lot and I also hope to quickly bring them my qualities! I am also eager to discover the Parc des Princes, one of the legendary stadiums of European football,” Kehrer said.
Thilo Kehrer has been playing for Schalke since 2013-2014. Performing better, Kehrer was called to join the U21 Germany national team. Until last season, Kehrer scored 4 goals and 4 assists in 45 Bundesliga matches.
