DBasia.news – In the Spanish Week 15 match, Sunday (1/12) local time, Getafe successfully attacked Levante with four goals without reply at the Alfonso Perez Coliseum Stadium. These four goals were Getafe’s landslide victory over Levante.
Leandro Cabrera, Jorge Molina, Angel Rodriguez, and David Timor each took turns to break Levante’s goal, according to the official Spanish League website.
The win made Getafe collect 24 points but his position did not move from seventh in the standings, while Levante (20) had to go down to rank 11th.
The results achieved by Getafe show the efficiency of their game, which packed four goals from 13 attempted shots despite only having 38 percent possession of the ball throughout the match.
After the first half ended in a draw, Getafe successfully opened the scoring in the 54th minute through a Cabrera header in a corner kick situation.
Six minutes later, Getafe’s lead doubled through Molina’s penalty, after she was brought down by Ruben Vezo inside the restricted area.
Marc Cucurella almost added Getafe’s lead again but his long-range shot was saved by keeper Aitor Fernandez. Luckily the resulting corner was able to bear fruit when Angel gore Jason’s cross in the 67th minute.
Levante almost replied in the 72nd minute through a shot outside the penalty box Enis Bardhi who was, unfortunately, able to be driven by goalkeeper David Soria.
The visitors’ goal conceded again in the 78th minute when Timor executed a free-kick after Jason was intercepted by Nemanja Radoja not far from the penalty box.
Winning four goals did not relax Getafe attacks, unfortunately, two chances from Angel and substitute Hugo Duro could still be saved by Fernandez. Even so, Getafe still pocketed three points when the match whistle was over with a 4-0 win over Levante.
