DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, hopes that one of his two injured players, Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba, could go down in a match against Tottenham Hotspur. The continuing British Premier League match is scheduled to take place on Thursday (5/12) AM.
The Red Devils are scheduled to go up against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs, who were none other than United’s managers before Ole, with his opponent winning three consecutive wins in all competitions after ousting Mauricio Pochettino.
Inversely, United failed to win their last three matches in all competitions, and were last held to draw Aston Villa 2-2 at Old Trafford, Sunday (1/12) PM.
As for the two United midfielders, Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba, each are in injury care, and there is confidence that one of the two is able to go down in the match against Spurs.
“We still have two days (to practice) and we need to look into the readiness of everything here,” Ole said after the offset of Villa.
“We only have two days left, so we’ll see. However, hopefully, we can see one of them (McTominay or Pogba) in the field.
“They are working hard behind the scenes.”
Ole previously
mentioned McTominay, who suffered an ankle injury against Brighton, was soon to
make a comeback. Meanwhile, Pogba has been sidelined since the draw against
Arsenal at the end of September and is said to be returning this December.
