Sergio Aguero could be Ronald Koeman’s savior at Barcelona

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Ronald Koeman was guaranteed to continue managing Barcelona by the club’s president, Joan Laporta. But the Dutch coach must first achieve positive results to secure his position.

Before Barcelona lost to Atletico Madrid in LaLiga last weekend, Laporta had decided Koeman’s fate. He and his staff decided to support the 58-year-old coach.

This gesture is in stark contrast to the rumors circulating. Spanish media reported that Koeman would still be dismissed regardless of the result of the match against Atletico.

In the end, Barcelona lost 0-2 to Atletico. However, Koeman’s position has not been shifted.

Despite the support from Laporta, Koeman is unable to relax. He must bring Barcelona up after this international break.

To make this happen, Koeman receives additional ammunition. He can play Sergio Aguero who is recovering from injury.

According to the US Diario report, Aguero is ready for combat. The Argentinean striker can appear in the beginning when Barcelona host Valencia, October 17.

This fact is certainly good news for Koeman. The front line of his team is definitely more promising with the presence of Aguero.

As is known, Aguero brought Barcelona for free last summer. However, he has yet to make a single appearance due to an injury during pre-season.

It will be interesting to see what scheme Koeman will use with Aguero. But the 33-year-old striker is almost certain to fill the spearhead position.
