By db-admin
DBasia.news – La Liga club, Sevilla reportedly wants to repatriate their ex-midfielder, Ivan Rakitic from Barcelona before the competition for the 2020-2021 season.
The Croatian national team player is said to be leaving Barcelona this summer due to contract issues.
The 30-year-old players contract will expire next summer, but despite repeatedly saying he wants it to be extended, he and Barcelona never agreed on a new contract.
This situation has sparked speculation that he will migrate to Italy in the next few months, but El Mundo Deportivo has reported on Monday that Sevilla manager, Julen Lopetegui might submit a 10 million euro offer to obtain Rakitic.
La Blaugrana boss, Quique Setien has previously expressed his intention to sell some of his midfielders this summer for having too many.
Rakitic, Arturo Vidal and Sergi Roberto are some of the Barcelona players who are said to be leaving.
