Sluggish Arsenal in the Transfer Exchange, Unai Emery Doesn’t Panic

DBasia.news –  Arsenal’s transfer movement is somewhat sluggish this summer. Nevertheless, Unai Emery, Arsenal manager, did not panic because they had discussed plans in recruiting players.

So far, Arsenal have just gotten Gabriel Martinelli. The player is considered not to have a significant impact because he still lacks experience.

Based on the news circulating, Arsenal want to recruit Wilfried Zaha. However, the Gunners offer is still far below Crystal Palace’s request.

However, Unai Emery remained calm. The former Paris Saint-Germain manager said Arsenal had plans for the transfer market.

“The club is working hard. We meet every day with the club and Edu. I prefer to work patiently and calmly. It will make the best decision,” Emery said as reported by London Football.

“We have some very good players, very good young players. We need some players to assist. The club is working on it.”

Unai Emery was pleased Arsenal had the arrival of Freddie Ljungberg and Edu. The manager hopes that the two figures can restore Arsenal’s glory.

“You know better than me if they are former Arsenal players. Freddie worked with the Under-23 team, but when he volunteered, we talked with Steve Bould. We changed two situations,” Emery commented.

“Edu has played here, he has the experience, he knows Arsenal. He is the right person as sporting director. He can help capitalize on experience and understanding at the club.”
