DBasia.news – Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not want his players to only see the big names of teams in the past.
Manchester United is one of the biggest teams in England, even in Europe. The Red Devils subscribe to be the best in domestic and also local competitions.
However, Manchester United began to run out of gas after Sir Alex Ferguson left the coaching chair. In fact, now Paul Pogba and his friends have broken through the Champions League zone.
“We know that we cannot be proud of our club’s big names, traditions, and history. All players want to play in the Champions League,” Solskjaer said.
“For Manchester United, playing in the Champions League is a bigger thing than many of the competitions we play,” said the manager.
Solskjaer believes that Manchester United can return to achievement by bringing in star players. However, this cannot be done soon.
“We want to bring in many good players to be able to achieve these things. However, we also want to develop the players we have at the moment,” Solskjaer said.
