DBasia.news – Manchester United continued to fail to beat their fellow top six teams. Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remained calm.
MU visited the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (31/1/2021) am, WIB, facing Arsenal. Three points had to be won as Manchester City previously won 1-0 over Sheffield United.
Unfortunately the mission failed to end sweetly because MU had difficulty creating goals for 90 minutes and had to settle for 0-0. Results that MU should regret.
Not only failed to stick to City, but MU was also sluggish in front of the big teams this season. MU has never beaten a big team this season, namely four draws and two defeats.
Even only one goal was made, that was from the spot when they were defeated 1-6 from Tottenham Hotspur. The real bad record has been going on since March 2020.
Of course MU cannot go on like this if they still want to compete on the winning track. Even so, Solskjaer is not worried about it because he believes Manchester United will improve.
“You saw our games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, we defended well and didn’t get much attack,” said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as quoted by RTE.
“It’s a capital, we have to be able to maximize our chances, we know the players have to do that. We haven’t done it yet, but they’ve often scored a lot of goals,” he continued.
“I felt we appeared dominant and played well in the first half. The game started to become strange when possession was evenly distributed. We got momentum, made two good chances and performed well,” concluded Solskjaer.
